If there is a place one must never find themselves beseeching, it would be the dark fields of Muriel Tovas.
An enigmatic figure that is said to lurk in the dark corners of the multiverse. Some have said she has made her home on Innistrad while others claim her to have been spotted on the fields of Lorwyn. Many stories are told of her across the multiverse with few details differing from each other, but most of them are consistent.
At first you would find yourself conquered by a thick mist that would lead you deeper into itself, until you stand upon a field of black crops as far as the eye can see. At first you would spot a solitary scarecrow standing guard in the middle of the crops, but as you approach, the scarecrow would turn its head to you.
" Don't ruin my crops." She would whisper in a raspy tone, and you are presented with three options:
One: You may bow and apologise to her, asking for the way out. Muriel would then gesture towards the horizon across the crops. If she does this, you are trapped in her sub-plane as the only way for you to get out is crossing the field, which in turn would damage the crop and invoke her rage.
Two: You can walk up to her, pat her on her head and tell her she is doing a good job. If you are lucky she will be embarrassed and let you go from her world. Most of the times however she would pierce your lungs with her long appendages.
Three: Accept that reality is cruel and that you are never leaving Muriel's field alive.
