Ready for some concept art?
Book 2 "The Crossroads" is going to be a wild ride. It's the most complex story I've ever written so far and I'm soooooooooo excited to be working on it! There's so much lore and mystery, and we're finally going to see way beyond the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the world of No North!
So here's one character you're going to be meeting along the journey! This is Rakia, a peregrine falcon. She's friends with Faye but is set in her ways. Lester thinks she's just a selfish bird, but Rakia will sometimes help on trickier tracking jobs. For the small price of some good fish, of course!
Rakia is Faye's eyes in the sky.

I love her already! Rakia looks very expressive and full of personality. I think she's a really neat addition to the story, and conceptually she's a very cool character! I'm looking forward to seeing her in action and the relationship dynamic she has with Faye

I’m sure nothing can get by Rakias aerial surveying! ☺️ So excited and looking forward to No North Crossroads! ☺️
