Here we have another script bit, this time featuring Delilah and Curtis!
And we have a small discussion between the two friends. Sometimes I feel like Curtis knows Delilah better than she knows herself.

Ooo! I always love seeing more of Delilah and Curtis!! They have such a cute little dynamic! 🥰 This scene is really interesting to me. On one hand, or more specifically, from Curtis's POV, Delilah can just run off and be free from the responsibilities that are dragging her down and making her life that much harder. She'd be free from all her worries, so why not just run away? On the other hand - Delilah's POV - it's much deeper than that. She knows that running off would really hurt her family, as well as Baltazar, who she does care about. She knows, as much as she wants to, it'd be almost impossible to run off without having to face the consequences. And just imagine what would happen if Baltazar caught her 😬 I'm so excited to see how this plays out in book 2!! I'm really looking forward to seeing these two again! Keep up the awesome work Skailla!! 💖

Baltazar is complex and tragic character and there is a line "I need you" that Balt say and I believe he didn't just mean he needs Deli to stay hidden. I believe deeo down Delilah would be the light Baltazar needs in his life. Sadly they aren't ment to be in this story. It makes me happy to see someone prefer this pairing too

Or something unexpected completely? But, I like Delilah and Balthazar much more than Delilah with Steban. It’s just Delilah and Balthazar seem to suit each other so well! And ooooh! They would have adorable puppies together! But, I guess they won’t…☹️ Because Delilah won’t stay with him for long time…
