Hey guys!
I hope you're all doing great!
I'm sorry I kind of disappeared for a few days. I'm trying to solve a few issues with the printshop (again) and preparing my stand and new products for Comic Con!
Anyway, here's a little fanart I did for The Fox and the Hound, a movie that was a huuge part of my childhood, and that also brings me so many awesome but bittersweet memories. I once had a very good friend who I used to play pretend with all the time. I'd call her out of the windows of her house to come play with me, and we would run barefoot through the countryside, laughing all day long. We also pretended to be Tod and Copper, and many other characters we created. We met when we were 5, and that went on until we were 13, and I thought of her as a sister. Ironically, our families had a fallout and she moved away soon after. I never saw her again, and never got to say goodbye. I wondered if she still thought of me sometimes, somehow, and it hurt to think she might have seen me as an enemy back when it all happened. I never got the chance to find out.
I never tried contacting her out of respect for my own family, but I still wonder where she is today, and if I'll ever get to see her again.
But that part of the movie where Todd says "We'll always be friends forever, won't we?" "Yeah, forever", still makes me tear up.
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this one! I'll go back to posting more!
I wish you all a wonderful week ahead! <3
