Ancient Names by Lord Huron has been a huge source of inspiration since the beginning of the year. It's nearly scary how fitting their songs and lyrics are to No North!
I've had this image stuck in my head since I heard it for the first time and I finally got to draw it for the artbook!
The wind rose in her cristal ball is inspired by their album's awesome aesthetic too.
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy it!

Like always, it would be gold to me if you answered. I ask a lot of questions, I know, but my excitement is overpowering by of all your hints for No North and amazing paintings!

I remember you writing a piece of dialogue about the broken compass Steban and Martin were using, but from my theory, the compass wasn't broken. It was actually being controlled by the Devil woman, as you can see that the Devil watches their journey over her magical crystal ball, luring them her way. By the way, love the neon green lighting!

I can relate to a certain character of my own from this picture. I'm serious, she appears to be doing some crazy stuff like Alena would. This is an awesome artwork. So evil and dark. Nice one!
