The demo should be ready in two weeks, but there’s still a lot of playtesting to do! I kept working on the lunch sequence, especially the secret segments you unlock when you annoy one of the teachers a bit too much (Screenshot 1). Some of these scenes may put June in...rather embarrassing situations! Each of them will have placeholder images for now (Screenshots 2 and 4). I figured out a way to show June in a diaper whenever she’s currently wearing one. Thankfully, it turned out to be a pretty simple trick: any additional element placed on top of a sprite can remain there until the sprite disappears, so there’s no need to create a separate variable for every line of dialogue depending on whether June is diapered or not (Screenshot 3). I also started integrating the lunch scenes at the “big girl” tables, but I didn’t have time to playtest them yet, so that will have to wait until next week. To finish, I sketched another CG, one of the earlier moments where you can catch Maddie sucking her thumb! That’s all for today. Next week, I plan to finish this CG, integrate more lunch scenes, and playtest!
