JJ

YOU ARE GOOD. THE POLITCAL SITUATION ISNT. THATS THE ONLY REASON THIS HAPPEND(prob)

JJ

Kind of a follow up to your Twitter post but hope you get better soon and looking forward to October, and I hope someday you might continue your old arts like before without any hate but if not that's your choice. Just keep doing what you want to do.

AbyssGaming

I fully believe that you were never in the wrong in the first place and I agree you should take a break! But maybe have a friend keep an eye on the situation? People are taking this opportunity to put words in your mouth- someone has already said that you posted saying you never want anyone to draw that design ever again even though it's not your design..

Eryx Dial

You have done nothing wrong here, the content warning where already there on your bio and the people who follow you or watches your content already know what they have gotten them self into, you owe them nothing and they should have zero say on what you allow to do online, if twitter keep being such a hellhole, you should just switch over to a more friendly site like bluesky.

Un_Empl0yed

agreed. And just keep in mind there will always be toxic people and all of that so try not to let them get to you that much.

It's clear that you've put a lot of thought into this, and I'm sure that plenty of people have already said exactly what I'm about to. But I've seen a lot of people, close friends of mine even, go through situations just like this. So I hope, even if only the smallest of ways; what I have to say can be of help to you. You did nothing wrong. Not a single thing. You are both a victim and a creator. And as a creator, and a creative; you have every right to make whatever you want. That's what art is for. And what you make is art. It doesn't matter what the subject matter is; wholesome or spicy, comforting or alarming; it's still art. And your audience came for you; you don't owe anything to them except whatever you want to give. You don't owe anyone an apology. You didn't make any mistakes or do anything wrong in this situation. The people who attacked and harassed you are. You are under no obligation to censor your own artwork to appease them, especially if you think that the act of censoring yourself is stifling to your creative freedom. You are a creator, and you can post whatever you want, whenever you want. If you will permit me giving just one piece of advice for you moving forward though; it would be the move away from Twitter. It has become an increasingly toxic environment, and the Murder Drones fandom there especially so. Other options like Bluesky, Tumblr, or even reddit are likely to be far more welcoming to you and your art.

In my opinion, you are by NO MEANS in the wrong here. Everyone who followed you knew what we were gere for and loved you for your honesty (the real fans at least). These guys on the other hand, decided to nitpick an INNOCENT and beautiful redesign just to put you down and i hate it. You are amazing and shouldn't feel the need to bend the knee to anyone who throws hate on what you love to do. Especially on Twitter. It's the breeding ground of cancel culture after all. Take care of yourself. We'll be here when you get back so take all the time you need

ALSO thinking more on this, I wouldn’t at all be surprised if this was an intentional attack as altright puritan style groups tend to find “degenerate” artists and harass them in mass so, consider that. You haven’t done a single thing wrong I hope you understand that, its fucking twitter at the end of the day and its a bunch of shit heads.

Take as much time as you need man, but I just wanted to say that none of this is your fault at all. Twitter IS a hellhole where people criticise whatever there is to criticise, and it just so happens that this time it’s unjust and uncalled for. The healthiness or validity of your coping mechanisms isn’t even an issue here — it’s more of why the decided to harass you for something they could have easily ignored (block button is right there), and something you have a right to (creative freedom). Of course implementing tags is the best course of action, but for something as mildly suggestive as this, I’d say you really did nothing wrong. All in all I really love what you do, and truth be told I wanted to join ur Patreon, but chose the worst possible time to consider doing so 😔 either way dont upset yourself too much over some twitter randos who think they’re too good for scrolling past an MD drawing

Turkey

Hmm this warm my soul with all the replies. Hiro whenever you have doubts or if you ever believe no one cares or if the world is against you. Come back here and read the comments. Let it be a reminder that you are still cared for and supported even when you think you’re not. Stay strong brother

Mr. Spooks

Honestly we love and support you. I’m sad that the fun suggestive drawing are going if I read that right. The idea that you need to get rid of it because some people couldn’t handle something way more tame than a lot of what I’ve seen hurts.
