Also, Health update:
My regular dentist is out of town until Wednesday, so yesterday I had to see a different one. She had a look at the X-ray of my tooth. She said something is starting to happen there, but it shouldn’t cause symptoms as intense as the ones I’ve had (The tooth pain stopped after one day, but the next day I got a fever and an enlarged lymph node)
Because of that, she suspected it might be a problem with a salivary gland. On the same day, I went to a doctor who did an ultrasound of the area. Everything looks fine with my salivary gland.
So the exact cause still isn’t 100% clear, but it now seems like it’s coming from the tooth after all. I’ve been taking antibiotics since January 1, and today they started working really well, so I’m recovering from the symptoms that I have.
On Monday, I plan to visit a family doctor, and I’ll see my regular dentist as soon as she’s back in town.
