Steins Gate 0 Visual Novel is way better and is on the same level as the original. the anime had the issue of adapting 5 Routes simultaneously.

I personally don't recommend Steins;Gate 0. It actually made me enjoy the overall series less. As far as I know the writers for Zero were different as well, and you can tell, cause a lot of the characters etc. feel off. Personally I'd recommend the movie, but other than that nothing else. I believe that is for the better

People have done the comparison between dub and sub for Cyberpunk, the Subtitles are done by an amateur who doesn't do their job fully or slacking off, I have Japenese friends translate and the subtitles are just flat out wrong in some of the scenes.

it just fits better. There's not really a gap in the quality of the performances. Night city just is in america and there are actual japanese who do speak japanese. It does bother my immersion a bit when everyone speaks it, even when it's not realistic. That's all it is, the sub is fine if you like it. Also all the slang that is really relevant to the world doesn't really carry over.
