Build Genres I'm Gonna Experiment Soon

So far I got almost set up: A metroidvania and an arcade 2D shooter (only firing with the mouse right now, and as for 2D, imagine Operation Wolf and Space Gun for example)
Any other genres you would suggest for me to experiment on later?

Maybe a pit fighter style game? 2D fighter where you take on a bunch of opponents but can maybe choose your route and who you fight? Also maybe a more in depth version of Tigress Tussle made into a full arcade ladder?
