Brena Mornings
Added 2020-11-04 16:16:30 +0000 UTCI’ve drawn Brena a few times, but I’ve never quite settled on an overall design or done much with her character that suggested anything beyond the obvious 😆(I guess I should add that the tension of the current election/news cycle seemed like a great time to fiddle with sketchy distractions, heh)
Anyway, just some fun sketches of a slightly redesigned Brena with a little slice of life (and her very good doggo🐶). Hope you enjoy!

That’s an interesting subject to link, as far as “meaning” (or lack thereof)... I imagined that, being as she is, Brena probably has struggled with some identity issues and how to explore/express them...and inks are often a tool for that (for better or worse). It made a kind of sense to me that she would have tattoos that were visually bold and striking, but didn’t actually have any deeper significance beyond their aesthetic appearance...and that itself is a meaningful statement for someone whose appearance suggests they’re far more exotic than they feel they really are.
