I recently read a story about a Hutu pastor in Rwanda, during the genocide, that hid seven Tutsi women in a tiny bathroom in his home for quite a while. One of the women stated that she heard the voice of a Hutu searcher right outside the door to the bathroom and even saw the doorknob turn just slightly. She said it was the most frightening moment she had ever had. She talked about how her mouth got dry, she tried desperately not to cry, and she started to pray for her life. Luckily, the door didn't open and they survived. However, just reading about that and imagining what that must have been like is terrifying.
On a positive note, Happy birthday to me! lol Well actually it was on the 16th, but whatever. lol

Watching this movie it was hard not being reminded what happened on October 7th 2023. Hundreds of innocent people slaughtered for no reason. Like you said, the cruelty of people is beyond comprehension at times.

I saw this when it came out, such a sad movie. The part where they are driving over the bodies and don’t realize it … 😭
