actually i have to say that that probably wouldn’t be the case. it should be a female child before a brother. however in this instance, baela’s last name is targaryen not velaryon so it would be strange if a line of targaryens were ruling in driftmark.

2023-09-20 16:34:31 +0000 UTCDid you realize what set Aemond off during the dinner? Luke started laughing at Aemond when that roast pig was brought to the dinner table. It reminded him of the joke they played on Aemond when they were younger; bringing him a pig dressed as a dragon. Also I liked how Daemon made Aemond stop with the STRONG remarks. He just stood in front of Aemond as if to say I already sliced one person's head off today for treason, do you want yours to be next. I do feel sorry for Princess Rhaenys. She's lost so many family members. Even though she hasn't had many lines, she is one of my favorite characters. I can't believe you asked who's the guy with the eye patch. LOL.

If lucerys was declared as a bastar,d the true heir would be Baela ( Daemon's eldest daughter) not him. children and grandchildren goes before a brother regardles of gender. So Vaemond would be after LAena's children.
