Outside this episode and her killing Traunt it's my least favorite story in the series followed by Bran's story from when they left Winterfell until when they got to Kings Landing. Cersie choosing violence was such an iconic moment. She is truly a great character. With Jamie, Cersie brings out the worst in him as she has an iron grip on him and Brienne brings out the best in him. Bout to watch episode 9 here in a few.

2023-06-12 02:32:26 +0000 UTCI think you underestimate Jamie. Everybody does. We want to root for him, but Jamie is very ruthless. I always rooted for him, though. That's why I love this show. Characters are nuanced.

2023-06-09 22:33:50 +0000 UTCThe way the faceless girl was chasing Arya reminded me of the cyborg cop from Terminator 2. Sadly Tommen decided there will be no more trial by combat. But at least you got to see the Mountain rip someone's head off. Jaqen gave Arya a look like he admired her. This episode left me wondering why he's letting her go unpunished after she's broken all the rules.

2023-06-09 19:38:37 +0000 UTCEven though I’m guessing Jaime knows Edmure wouldn’t risk his son’s life, I don’t think Jamie’s threat to Edmure was an idle one. He’s proven in the past that he’s willing to commit an act of evil for Cersei when he pushed Bran from the window. I can’t even say Cersei influences him because he makes those choices himself. He has good values and morals but will cast them aside at the drop of a hat to protect her.
