You know, despite everything, the unexpected death of main characters like Ned, Rob, etc (I'm not going to spoiler but many others will die as well) is what makes game of thrones so unique. At least that's my opinion.

That tear on your face.. Your genuine reaction at the end melt my heart. Unfortunately I new the starks were going to die, when I watched this episode for the first time, but it didn't make the scene any less traumatic to be honest. I was in shock and I knew what was going to happen. I can't imagine how would you feel since you had no idea about the turn of the events.

2023-03-10 09:48:39 +0000 UTCIf you recall from the ending of episode 7 where Jamie says to Roose Bolton that he's sorry he won't be at the wedding but to let Robb Stark know that "the Lannister's send their regards" ... yeah, they made a deal. The way that Catelyn immediately is on edge as the doors are closed and The Rains of Castamere start to play is so well done cos it creates such tension without us really knowing exactly why. Michelle Fairley as Catelyn Stark is incredible! That gutwrenching scream as Robb dies just hits me every single time.
