Midland circle started being mentioned in daredevil season 1. Midland circle sits on the tenement that the Mexican lady mrs cardanis was living in, nobu wanted it from Fisk, he was insistent on that particular block and it led to Fisk having mrs cardanis killed to take her tenament and turn it into midland circle aka hand headquarters.
