2022-09-06 21:12:23 +0000 UTCVal Kilmer had throat cancer years ago and had to have a tracheotomy. He speaks thru a stoma placed in the center of his throat. He cannot speak without plugging the hole and he's hard to understand. It is unclear whether he with ever have the stoma removed or if he will ever speak normally again. Thanks to Tom Cruise he got to be a part of this film. I recommend you see the documentary called Val. It explains his whole life and sickness in great detail.
