From Alabama - I remember I was a senior in high school about to graduate when it happened. We had a trip planned at my friend's mom's place in Ft Walton Beach, FL. We almost didn't get to go because oil residue was washing up on shore. It was really bad, all the marine life lost is so sad. It's still causing problems to this day.
