Not sure you got it but those shirts he found in Jack's closet at the end were theirs from that initial fist fight they got into. Ennis said I can't believe I left my shirt up there, but Jack stole it and put it inside of his bloody blue shirt. He kept them hidden in his closet all those years. That's why Ennis became so emotional upon finding the shirts. Then when you see the shirts hanging in Ennis wardrobe, Jack's shirt is now inside of his.
