It's already been a month since I wrote the last newsletter? We're almost halfway done with 2024? That can't be right.

So, let's go over what's happened since we last checked in.

• Keeping Time is coming up on the end of Chapter 1 over on the main site! It'll be going on a 2 week hiatus once Chapter 1 wraps, and then it'll come in swinging with Chapter 2 in July.

• Also on the main site, I've started adding transcripts for all the comic pages, so folks who use screen readers can have a better time enjoying Keeping Time! I'm actually having a lot of fun writing the transcripts. It's a fun challenge to capture the mood and pacing of the art with text alone.

• Meanwhile, Chapter 2 is wrapping up here on Patreon. I'm working on finishing up the final 10 pages of Chapter 2 as we speak! This batch of pages is when I finally found my footing, script-wise, so I'm pretty excited to share them with you all. Without spoiling too much, I will say there's my dream interaction coming up. Take a guess who the interaction is between!

I think pretty soon, I'm gonna have to scale back to updating both the main site and Patreon to once-a-week page updates instead of twice-a-week, because I've definitely caught up with my own tail.

I also can't get started drawing Chapter 3 right away, because I have a bunch of script and thumbnail issues I need to re-work first. That'll probably take about a week! So things might be a bit slower for the rest of the summer, but I hope you'll stick around nonetheless. I'm hoping with that much less pressure on myself to go as fast as I can, maybe I can have more bandwidth to draw more SPICY ART. (I promise you, my Espresso drinkers, you'll get at least one new spicy drawing this month! I've been loosely scripting and thumbnailing a short spicy comic, too, so STAY TUNED.)
