Did... did I forget to do an April newsletter?

That's so weird, I could've SWORN I did one, but I guess it slipped my mind. In fairness, there was a lot going on in April. Let's recap!

• Released a one-page autobio comic for When I Was Young! (You can read it here!)

• Got to the band pages (my favorites) in Chapter 2 of Keeping Time

• and most importantly, KEEPING TIME WENT LIVE!

It's been an incredible first three weeks.

Over 2,000 people have checked out the Keeping Time site, with almost 1,000 of them reading all the way through the first opening act. I really didn't have any expectations number-wise, but I feel like this has vastly exceeded any numbers I would've guessed.

There's also so many more of you joining us here in Patreon, and I can't thank you enough. Every single pledge gets me closer to my dream of being able to sustain myself off of creating this comic that I love, and I'm so, so grateful!!

Right now, things are going a bit slower than anticipated getting the next batch of pages. The slowdown is partly because I'm juggling three freelance projects at the moment (these projects make quite a BOOM! wink wink nudge nudge), and because the pages I'm working on all have backgrounds like this:

Anyway, if you'd like a little insight into where your pledges go: because of all of you, I was able to afford hiring the developer of the webcomic plugin to do some customizations to the site!! I'm so excited for those to go live.

We're sprucing up the desktop layout and better integrating Hyvor Talk for both desktop and mobile. Hyvor Talk is a way better comment platform than standard DISQUS (especially because it's better at protecting user privacy!)

Hyvor Talk lets you do fun reacts to the comic pages (which I'll be customizing soon-ish!!), and it lets you upvote comments and respond with images or gifs in your comments! (Please LEAVE ME ALL THE COMMENTS ON THE SITE, I WILL UPVOTE EVERY SINGLE ONE)

Anyway, that's it for now. I'm gonna go back to working on these pages. Please enjoy all these Tomás-es. I really love every single supporting character in Keeping Time, but Tomás especially.
