I've been wanting to throwback to when Denver and Daniel would've still been in high school! Featuring Denver's best friend, Tomás, the drummer of their high school band (and later, Tennyson). I've mentioned that, as an adult, Denver has an absolutely useless roommate, and that's Tomás!! (I love him, but he is a total potato.)

I'm just realizing now... after over a day of working on this... that Tomás's haircut is an anachronism. He is definitely the kind of guy who would've been a scene kid in high school, but he was a little bit past that age by the time scene kids were a thing...

I suppose this is a blessing and a curse because I DID NOT ENJOY DRAWING SCENE KID HAIR, it was like returning to a battleground I thought I left behind two decades ago. :')

Anyway, everything else is pretty on-point!! I knew right away the exact, overbearing type of arms-on-shoulders pose I wanted for Denver, where most of his body weight is on his friends. Then, later, while looking up reference for glory spikes (which I ultimately nixed), I realized why this pose was so ingrained in my brain...
