I've been feeling increasingly guilty these past few months about keeping this Patreon going when I've had such little time to work on doing neat Patreon exclusives. I quietly paused payment for April, so no one was charged. I am going to turn it back on for May, though, so if you'd like to continue sticking around, please know I am so, so grateful for your support.
I do, at last, finally have some news to share! Some of you may have seen, but my first comic cover to hit solicits was finally announced.
It's been incredible to see my name in solicits for Image!
I'm super grateful to the Radiant Black team for bringing in a newcomer like me for this. I'm sharing the thumbs I originally sent the editor. He ultimately went with option A, since it was the most dissimilar to other covers. I've had to blur out some thumb details, though, because there is a Big Surprise in regards to my cover.
But if you want to know it, you'll have to pick up the cover in July (Diamond Code MAY210191) and find it out for yourself! Just be prepared if it looks a bit different than the one we've sent to Previews...
In other news, I'm still plugging away at RUBBER MATCH interiors. I fell behind because March/April were incredibly stressful months filled with my partner's surgery and then the pipes in our apartment breaking for TWO WEEKS, but I'm finally getting into a groove again. I'll give you all a sneak peek in early May!
OTHER PATREON NEWS:
Starting in May, I'm gonna be bringing in a monthly poll for patrons to decide on a monthly fanart!! I'm planning on doing it like you all vote on a character, and also vote on a style (Renaissance painting, 40s pinup, etc) and we'll make some cool mash-ups together!

Imo, patronage isn’t always about getting something in exchange, but recognizing an artist’s talent/potential and giving them the tools/resources to do more. I’m just offering another perspective—of course, you ultimately must make the decisions that you’re most comfortable with! In any case, I think the idea of a monthly poll is really fun and I’m excited to see what ideas you have coming down the chute.
