RUBBER MATCH Thumbnail Update
Added 2020-10-30 19:31:19 +0000 UTCPHEW, I know I've been quiet lately but it's because I've just been chugging along with thumbnailing out the Rubber Match script. By the time I reached the script page 22, we were already 39 thumbnails in (a lot of the wrestling match scenes were expanded across extra pages!), but I'm so excited because the matches are turning out GREAT, with each one really unique but in a way that it still feels like our main characters, Ty and Scorpion Butch are the same wrestlers from match to match -- we just get to see more of their wrestling arsenal and ability as the story progresses.
I've chosen some of my favorite pages to share with you lovely patrons, and I think none of it is ~too~ spoiler-y.
I feel like I'm pretty slow at thumbnailing, but I'm doing almost all of my problem-solving at this stage instead of leaving any of it up to Future Kira to worry about during the lineart phase -- which is almost the opposite of my usual workflow (which is janky, barley legible sketch, then massive amounts of problem solving during pencils and colors).
Anyway, thank you all for your continued support. It's always incredibly helpful, but it's especially invaluable as my partner -- who has been furloughed and on unemployment since Mach -- has fully lost his job a few weeks ago. (He's had a bunch of interview this week though, so fingers crossed!)
