This is gonna be a very technical wall of text. For transparency's sake, I have once again changed my mind on it and I'm dropping 60fps interpolation, because, as much as I appreciate the perceived fluidity, the tech isn't exactly perfect. I'll take clarity over blurry artifacts on quick motions - not to mention some other issues.

And here's some objectively good news: going forward, all videos will look slightly better at the same file size. It's like magic!
Except it's not, I just got a tip that I should try using ffmpeg for final video encoding, rather than rely on DaVinci Resolve's somewhat limited exporting options. So now I'm using a lossless format for export from Resolve, and then feeding that into ffmpeg to get a sane encoding that puts out better quality at the same file size.
It's the same h.264 encoder and, in this case, the bitrate ended up being around the same as I'd normally use, but the way it's distributed is not the same - it's a night and day difference when you compare it side-by-side.
I'm also entertaining the possibility of making a 2nd variant of all videos using h.265 10bit. Still need to test it more before I can say anything else, but I have seen my fellow animators release low and high bitrate variants of their videos, and this is around the same ballpark.

TLDR: I'm learning nerd stuff that your eyes will benefit from, regardless of how you prefer watching my anims. Enjoy the cutie!
