Aqua ROVE and ROVE Jr are live on Kickstarter! Here are your discount details.

ROVE: Results-Oriented Versatile Explorer has risen up the ranks on both BGG and our internal top games list. It's a solo spatial puzzle game and has constantly sold well, or sold out! As a result we wanted to make something all new so the team put together two really awesome new games, Aqua ROVE and ROVE Jr.

What will be included in future packages?

Supporters of levels including a wallet game ($18/$28):
Aqua ROVE and ROVE Jr will be offered as the Featured Wallet Games in two separate upcoming BGotMC packages. The ROVE: Tourist Traps expansion and ROVE: Dive Mode Promo will also be included in a future club package. You do not need to pledge at Kickstarter to receive these in your club package, but you may choose to use your club discount to purchase extra copies or so you have the option to switch out the Featured Games later.

None of the previously released content for ROVE will be in any future club packages. Here's how to pledge at Kickstarter as a US/UK member

For this campaign, we will NOT be using a pledge manager for US or UK backers. You will need to calculate the amount to pledge based on the reward you wish to receive.

Choose the $1 Board Game of the Month Club Members reward level and adjust your pledge amount by adding bonus support. Find the reward level that you would like in the table below, then add the cost of shipping and subtract the discount for your patron level to find out how much to pledge.

Here's how to pledge at Kickstarter as an INTERNATIONAL member (not US/UK)

For this campaign we will be using Gamefound’s Pledge Manager again. Simply pledge for One Game (for International Backers) $12 reward, do NOT use the Board Game of the Month Club Members reward.  Choose any add-on content you wish to include with your pledge, and you’re all set. You will be able to upgrade to a higher reward level in the pledge manager if you wish to.

Shipping will be collected in the Pledge Manager, and your club discount will be added using your email address to link your Kickstarter and Patreon support. The items pledged for at Kickstarter will be transferred to your cart in the Pledge Manager and you will be able to finalize the content of your reward there, adding any games from the Button Shy catalog and making an additional payment for content and shipping if required.

When the Pledge Manager opens, if you do not see the credit, we will be able to update it manually; this will most likely happen if your Kickstarter name and email address is different to your Patreon name and email address. Please email buttonshyhelp@gmail.com when the pledge manager opens if you need us to apply the credit to a different Gamefound account.

Aqua ROVE

Aqua-ROVE is a new standalone ROVE game that twists a few things around both mechanically and visually. Mechanically, we've moved the movement styles off of the modules and onto the movement cards, and it creates a very different way to play. Visually, we've changed the panorama from left -> right to top -> bottom. Aqua ROVE is diving deeper and deeper, and it's super cool. 

The first question is always is this easier or harder? And the answer is that it's just fresh and different. There are some videos linked on the Kickstarter page, and you can see the difference in action.

ROVE Jr

ROVE Jr is an entry level ROVE game for children or casual players. It takes everything ROVE and just boils it down to the simplest versions of itself. Movement is just move left, right, up, or down as far as you want. The grid is smaller. There are fewer modules. The modules don't have special abilities until you are ready to use them. And most of all, it's absolutely ADORABLE.
