Friday Art Preview - 10/20/23

In the game you are protecting a lighthouse from nightmares. Are these real creatures? Or have you been isolated too long? We do not know, but nevertheless you must protect the lighthouse at all costs. I showed you what a card looks like in the past, but let's check out some of the expansion nightmares look like. When we reached out to artist Anastasia Khmelevska we asked for something surreal, creepy and strange. Anastasia illustrated I Guess This Is It for us, so she is perfect for this game.
Our prompts for the artist were kind of funny. We asked for a creepy clown, a barking dog, a skeleton. But here is my favorite: a creepy door. I wasn't quite sure how the artist would convey "creepiness" with a door, but Anastasia pulled it off! The scratch marks, the big eye and the pointy claws. Together it is one creepy door! We are really happy with the way these all turned out.
And one more thing before I go, here is the cover to the base game! The lighthouse still shines as the nightmares attempt to take over!
