Hey everyone, for today's art post I have something a little different. I'll be sharing with you some art, from an upcoming 9 card game about art. Let's check it out!

One of our upcoming 9 card games is about stealing priceless works of art. As soon as I saw this game I knew there was some potential to do something very different. With this game each card will feature a framed work of art and some gameplay elements. The fun part was that I had to find artists that can illustrate works that look similar to those you would find in a museum. This would include landscapes, still lifes and portraits. I love fine art and museums so this was really exciting for me!

Here we have a still life painting. Still lifes were very popular during the 16th and 17th century, which is why you see so many in museums. They are still very popular today! In the game there are both "early works" and "masterpieces" This is one of the illustrations for an early work. Projects like this re fun because I get to do a bit of research on paintings from different eras and from all different artists.

Once I have a sard layout done I'll share that like usual. Hope you enjoyed this peek at the project.
