Hey everyone, it's time for our Friday Art Preview! This week I want to share some sketches for some upcoming The Royal Limited expansions. Let's check it out!

One of the new expansions will add train engines. Specifically, vintage ones. Since the game takes place in the 1960's we wanted to have the engines from about 30 years before. We did our research and found some styles of train engines that were big at that time. The above image (which is just a very rough sketch!) depicts a streamliner style train engine that was popular in the 1930's.

In addition to new train engines we also have a few new characters. There are 6 in total, but I just wanted to show off one for now. This is just a sketch at the moment, but when it is all complete this character will fit right in with the others. We are working with the same artist that illustrated the base game. The artist, Taylor Stone, is super talented. We gave them just a brief description of each character and in turn were given these awesome sketches. We can't wait to see them when they are complete!
