Friday Art Preview - 3/3/23

Happy Friday friends! We are super excited for next week's Kickstarter launch so I figured I'd share some images from the two games that will be Kickstarted. This time, instead of doing just one game, we are doing both Ancient Realm and River Wild in one big Kickstarter! Both games have been designed by Steven Aramini, one of the designers behind Sprawlopolis.

First up we have Ancient Realm. I've shown a bit of the artwork for this game but now that we are inching closer to the release I would like to show a near finished card. Cards are split into sections and really gave us a great opportunity to display a lot of art on the cards. We used the same artist for the characters and the locations, so everything is nice and consistent in style. Milan arranged the card layout and this project is ready for Kickstarter!

The next game that I would like to show more River Wild. From the start, we really wanted River Wild to feel like it is something from another world. From the brightly colored water, to the mystical creatures, this game just feels... wild! The art for this game actually came together quite fast, as we already had a pretty clear vision of what the cards should look like. In fact, this final image is not that far off from some early renders that we made when we first began with the art direction.
