We went through and redacted any reference to giveaways in previous posts at Patreon's request and will no longer be holding any giveaways here. We are sorry for all those that enjoyed them, and we hope to find other ways to provide additional content (and ask you silly questions). Thanks!

Patreon is international and I know that those giveaways are illegal here in Québec (even though I participated and won, once, thus turning Button Shy into criminals). I suppose they could easily be run on the discord (which means I would not be likely to notice them, but that is life).

2022-02-07 18:00:06 +0000 UTCIt's against Patreon's terms, and the reason for that is varying legality of doing giveaways that have an entry fee (e.g. in some US states it's counted as gambling and therefore illegal). In the case of Patreon, simply being a patron counts as paying an entry fee.
