Hey it's Jason here jumping in with the news. There's a lot going on here right now, and a lot of big steps being made, but all behind the scenes. I feel like we already mentioned that George is starting here full-time next week. That is going to be huge for the club, as it is his main responsibility. He will be working all ends of the club (as opposed to being the face of it that he's been for the last few months). It can't come soon enough, and when it does, it will still take time for the effects of it to make it to you. But George will be our first full time employee. Our second will likely be Anthony (a local assembly team member here), who is working his way up to a full week. Anthony has been part time for a while now, but really knows his way around the space, the processes, and the games. I'm excited to see him continue to grow and work alongside George as we really fix the delays here once and for all. 

Speaking of delays, I want to explain something that we're doing here that will only impact $20+ supporters. As we try to catch up, we are going to ship out everything we can as soon as it's available. This means, if the envelope portion is ready, but the wallets are still a few weeks out, we are going to mail the envelope now. This is the case with the two catchup packages from 2020 that are going out now. We are waiting for the wallets, so we are starting to send just the envelopes. For $20+ international subscribers, we are evaluating to see if we can do this all the time now. Holding onto the envelope on odd months makes for some logistical issues, but sending the envelopes early could cost thousands of dollars. It's all a tough choice here, but we are scrambling to catch up while George gets settled in. Just so you know what go expect, if we send the envelope only, we will list that on the tracking email.

Here's the current status of everything else: 

Nov 2020 Catchup package - halfway out, the rest will be out tomorrow. The wallets are not here yet and will go out when they arrive. 

Dec 2020 Catchup package - just waiting on a rules sheet that will be here next week. Wallets are still delayed, and will go out when they arrive. 

July 2021 - Waiting on rules, expect about 7-10 days to arrive. The wallets will follow.

August 2021 - Waiting on rules, expect about 2-3 weeks to arrive. 

September 2021 - Waiting on rules, expect about 2-3 weeks to arrive.

As you can see, rules are a CONSTANT issue. They are complex and if wrong, everything falls apart. George is starting on that first thing Monday. Once we have rules in for everything, things will move so much faster. So I hope that we have great news, fast turnaround, better communication and what everyone has been asking for... a realtime status site, once George is in and settled.

This has been plaguing me as with our growth and our distancing requirements (our team and products are in two offices two towns apart - so I'm constantly running between them keeping the team moving), I've had to spend 100% of the time with our local assembly team and everything else as fallen behind. A full time employee is that relief that we need, and George being my brother, he's the closest to being able to read my mind and pick up on the work quickly.
