Personal Space is starting to arrive - and the universe is growing.

Hey everyone! Hope those in the US had a great holiday weekend, and those in the rest of the world ate meals as good as ours. The 4th of July has always been about food and fireworks here, and to make up for the lack of fireworks, we just ate more food.

But there were tons of fireworks in Personal Space this weekend. Here's a screenshot of District 3, my little corner of the universe.

So what does all of this mean? Let me explain.

Our 2020 year long game (which by now will dip into 2021 due to the delays) is Personal Space. A solo-ish game of living your best life. I say solo-ish because of the digital community component where it kind of feels like you are playing with others, while also playing alone. The game mixes elements of roll and write, dice games, legacy games, collectables, customization, money handling, entertainment, social networking, and much more. It's very different than anything I've ever played, and I hope that everyone enjoys how "off the deep end" this thing can get.

If you haven't received your packages yet, we are very close to being through all of them (like 90% shipped). Newer subscribers will likely just get the starter pack, but older subscribers should have a few of the delayed March and April packages arriving or on their way. We've seen some intense international mail delays, so please hang tight while the USPS sorts out their COVID-19 issues.

We are driving a lot of the in-game interaction at Discord. Things like your district, which is a group of players with similar numbered planets. The store has different items each day. The lottery changes regularly. Plus there are places to post your stuff as you go and join in on that "ish" part of the solo-ish experience.

The rules for Personal Space are entirely online. They are optimized for online rules as well. Not perfect yet, but you'll see some of the benefits. One is that everything is hidden except for the exact thing that you need. So if you are looking at what to do on your turn, you won't see everything else. It should help keep things focused. The other benefit is that we can keep adding as new content emerges, and so far, it's been emerging almost daily.

There will be more files over time, but for now it's a few of the sheets that you use to play. We sent everyone 1 of each sheet. You could laminate those or print your own. Or play on an iPad as I've seen some people do.

This is a place to share the contents of your starter kit and monthly packages. Some of it is 100% unique, the others are randomized. Once you add yourself to the sheet, I can add you to the your district on Discord.

I think that's it for now. But I mentioned the universe expanding so I should expand on that. :)

Today we released an in-game Hobby called Birdwatching. It's a sheet that you can print with instructions on how to find some of the 216 different birds that appear on your planet. 

This is the first of many Hobbies to come. And in the store today are a few items that you can use to help make Birdwatching even easier. 

With all of that in mind, I hope to see more packages arriving. There are so many goodies inside, from a ton of Personal Space stuff to the multiplayer Trolling For Trouble, plus SpaceShipped and Rube and the newest wallet games.
