October packages are heading out

Hey everyone! We've been preparing a mega update for tomorrow, and I'd usually tack this into the mega update, but I'm going to try to keep them separated and focused. Stay tuned for tomorrow's January preview, plus an overall 2019 preview. But for now...

October Packages are going in the mail!

They are heading out as we speak. These are packages for anyone that started supporting us as of Sept 30 or before. For anyone that started supporting us after that, you might get something as well if we can swing it. :)

Here's what to look out for in this package:

The Banned Books character is not in there. It'll ship with November.
We accidentally stamped it with September at first, then I had to cross it out and stamp Oct. For $20 supporters, yours was already placed into the mailer when I realized this, so please keep this in mind. Feel free to get crafty and write OCT on it when it arrives.

Quick story - we have a once per week helper, Kevin Kulp - a local designer and beast when it comes to assembling these packages, and I gave him the stamper, the supplies and the mailers and took off for the day. He nailed all of it with piles and piles of completed packages... but there were a few extras that I made and had to stamp. As soon as I did a few of them I let out a big Darth Vader "Noooooooooooo!" realizing I never switched the date on the stamper. This is our second month with the stamper and I already messed it up.

So with that... October packages are heading out. Keep an eye out for them, don't assume they are September if the stamp is wrong, just check inside first. And stay tuned for tomorrow's big 2019 update.
