January Package Update!

January packages are ready to go as soon as this month’s postcards arrive. They are taking longer than usual but shipped as of yesterday, so I expect them to be here by the end of the week. We are THIS CLOSE to actually getting them out in January, but we’re getting there. 

This month really flew by though. We ran our quarterly Kickstarter and since it was a week longer than normal, it consumed me for a good chunk of the month. We are also fulfilling Pentaquark, which is a monster to fulfill with all of the bonus cards we unlocked in the Kickstarter. It’s almost behind us now. With no Kickstarter in Feb and March we will be focusing on getting the last few games out and prepping the April campaign.

Speaking of the April campaign, we've been showing off the preview art for the first of our three games, Circle The Wagons on our blog, social media and BGG this week. It was the winner of our 2016 contest and has been getting a lot of buzz for its variable gameplay and new art by Beth Sobel.  If you haven't already tried it, the prototype PNP files are below. It's the old art, but the game will shine through.

And in the last bit of news, we just launched our 2017 Wallet Game Design Contest, introducing a new category of Wallet Plus (which includes up to 10 coins). Any designers, check it out as it's a fun chance to work under limitations and get some feedback and potentially win $100, $50 and/or a chance to get published.
