The Board Game Road Trip Is Back In Pennsylvania

It’s time for the next edition of the Board Game Road Trip, but FIRST! A quick update on March’s shipments. 

If you were a Patron before 3/1/16, you will be receiving a March package very soon. The first will be shipping out Saturday morning, and the last will be shipping out by Monday / Tuesday. We had a little snafu with one of our printers and they had to reprint a few things. Sorry for any delays, but we think you’ll enjoy this month’s delivery! There’s some great stuff in there.

Also, $20 Patrons, check your messages! I need your t-shirt size, if you haven’t already sent it over.

Ok other quick news, we’re gearing up for Unpub in 2 weeks and I should have a few prototypes to share here as we get closer. One of the games that I’m bringing was our January bonus game, Mediterralien. I made a larger version that I’m going to test there, a LOT. You’ll get updated rules here as I tweak things.

Version 004: Nat Levan

Ben Begeal was back in his home state and caught up with Nat Levan on an unexpectedly snowy day in February. 

It was originally planned to be at a diner (one of our Designer Diner nights with Jason Tagmire and Mike Mullins in attendance), but the snow pushed it back to Nat's house. There, Nat dissected Benny Sperling's last iteration of the game, Paint The Roses Red, and tightened things up a bit. The initial layout was changed as well as the wild ability, a slight theme adjustment, and special powers were added to the cards. While it feels like it was a few small changes, just writing those out shows how different it is.
