2025-01-24 18:02:35 +0000 UTCThere is only one i can really recommend and that would be my alltime Favorite: Clannad + Clannad Afterstory, it has comedy, it has romance, it is pure slice of life, you really don't have to know more about it, it's an experience you go in as blind as possible (2 Seasons finished) But there are three more i personally really enjoyed so i will name them too~ Toradora (Finished) Golden Time (Finished) The 100 Girlfriends that really really really love you (2nd Season started just recently and you will never ever encounter any better MC in any anime ever after seeing this)

This would be a commitment, 3 seasons with 22+ ep "Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions" - This I fully recommend, couple standard seasons, some specials and a movie. "Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits- " "The Ancient Magus' Bride" - It has bride in the name, must be a romance.

Balanced Male/Female perspective Titles which have this characteristic, but I feel it not to be the main focus are marked with an * MY DRESS UP DARLING - Opposites attract and compliment each other. Fan service warning, but if you pay attention to the subtleties it’s actually in service to the story line. HORIMIYA - More fast track, likable supporting cast with subplots ALYA SOMETIMES HIDES HER FEELINGS IN RUSSIAN - Really unique take on the tsundere female lead. MAKINE: TOO MANY LOSING HEROINES - Ok, not strictly speaking a romcom, but written to appeal to romcom fans.It holds a mirror up to the genre without becoming a parody. Introvert MC - Male Perspective KOMI CAN’T COMMUNICATE* - Introverted female lead,leans heavier into the comedy with its weird supporting cast.Slow burn. KUBO WON’T LET ME BE INVISIBLE - Cute.premise that makes good gags, likable supporting cast DANGERS IN MY HEART - Similar pace, more radical male lead THE ANGEL NEXT DOOR SPOILS ME ROTTEN - Unique introvert V. introvert pairing THE KAWAI COMPLEX GUIDE TO MANORS AND HOSTEL BEHAVIOR - More of a romance with comic relief characters. OVA wraps things up. Introvert MC - Female Perspective KIMI NI TODOKE - High drama Teasing partners - I set these apart TEASING MASTER TAKAGI-SAN - Mostly com mild rom UZAKI-CHAN WANTS TO HANG OUT* - Supporting cast really makes this one special. DON’T TOY WITH ME MISS NAGATORO - A bit more cutting. The Female lead’s self-destruction is cute though. WHEN WILL AYUMU MAKE HIS MOVE - Flips the script, Male lead does the teasing. Couples who don’t know that they are couples. INSOMNIACS AFTER SCHOOL* THE GIRL I LIKE FORGOT HER GLASSES TORADORA* TOMOCHAN IS A GIRL Harems and Stables(Reverse Harem) THE QUINTESSENTIAL QUINTUPLETS - Reasonable premise, bickering into romance. WE NEVER LEARN:BOKUBEN - The quints without the animosity to overcome. OURAN HIGH SCHOOL HOST CLUB - Wacky premise, high camp humor. THE WORLD GOD ONLY KNOWS - the endangered species called “non-obliviouso MCus” makes this perhaps the best harem ever. What About After They Start Dating? SHIKIMORI’S NOT JUST A CUTIE - Role reversal drives the comedy. TONIKAWA: OVER THE MOON FOR YOU - Let’s just skip to newlywed life. Low on Drama - High on Comedy MONTHLY GIRLS NOZAKI-KUN - How to write romance the wrong way. GAMERS - If you thought any romance was ridiculous, you ain’t seen nothin yet. TSUDURA CHILDREN - Skit type anthology. There is no winner when comparing one love to another!

I love this one because it's comedic moments are told through in jokes with characters rather than out jokes with writers. It's honestly the most realistic teenage romance I've ever seen in media :)

The first realising moment in nurse office is too wholesome and just suck me in, and the reverse giving garbage is just fucking hilarious. And the rest is just the peak in my heart, love the growth story, our main characters and all the wingmen, wingwomen so so much.
