Once you finish the anime you should react to the OP and ED again but with lyrics, that will hit you differently. There are three insert songs whose lyrics also have a lot of meaning once you finish the anime: "Mata Ne", "Sora Wo Miagete" and " Haru Ka Toku" you can find videos of all three with English cc. The production team had collaboration with the Antarctic Institute of Japan, there are even a couple of videos of the four VAs visiting the Icebreaker Shirase in port.
