Now that you mention it, I think the reason Ouran worked as live action is that overacting is the core of most of the characters.

2025-01-16 04:17:01 +0000 UTCI saw it and despite having some charme it wasn't that good sadly, but i also had a big struggle accepting the actors and their 'overacting' to match the anime dynamik horrible but i guess some would be more accepting it really depends which aspects you pay attention to and generally enjoys.

In my experience, Only equaled by Horimiya, Pseudo Harem and Dangers in My Heart. There have been other great season finales, but we await the sequels for now. The movie is a must see tough. The end of the ending.

The difficulty of casting actors who look close to the characters AND can pull off the chemistry is a huge hurdle. The exceptions I've seen are Ouran High School Host Club and Kini ni Todoke. I haven't been able to see the Kaguya live action movie.

2025-01-15 19:34:49 +0000 UTCA Warcrime has happend and we were reminded who is the warcriminal that caused all this! More on this matter in the Movie! It's an amazing final episode, it gives you everything but also withholds so much from you. You totally want to see the kiss more directly but yet you are still satisfied with what you got. Ofc it was Karen who actually saw it happen, it is a running gag throughout their spinoff that she sees all intimate moments between those two but no one believes her when she tells people about it so she uses it to draw her silly delusions in a Doujin (basically a fanart version of manga or more like non comercial version) In this world a recommondation letter from Shujin means a lot because it is very prestigeous and worldwidely recognized and pretty much the main reason Miyuki was accepted into stanford, so having made a second recommondation for Kaguya will definetly do it's part. There is also a live action movie covering this season and ending with an original ending so i will not spoiler that one in case someone wants to watch it. (Live Action basically means a movie with real life people acting the characters)
