Haha yes it's out and ep 1 was great imo. Yea I get that... I would like to see them get together but at the same time would be happy as well if they ended up like super close friends

2025-01-11 15:46:17 +0000 UTCI COMPLETELY MISSED THAT SEASON 2 IS ALREADY HERE WTF, gonna have to watch ep 1 right after this. the OP & ED are so pretty, though... and to give my answer to your question about possible romantic developments later on - personally, while i definitely wouldn't mind if maomao & jinshi eventually ended up getting together...i think i'd almost prefer if they didn't? mainly because you rarely ever see platonic stories between a male & female character, especially protagonists, and since it's already clear jinshi loves maomao, i think it'd be sort of refreshing to just leave it at that: a one-sided crush, but they're still just fine with being friends
