Absolutely loved how they did this, it could so easily have gone a wrong way or in a way we didn't want, very very important and emotionally powerful. Forgiveness and understanding done wonderfully in my opinion

And for some reason, re-watching this with you had me tearing up more than usual. The complicated emotions that are conveyed in that scene...it's just so well done. And it's hard not to think back on one's life and kinda relate in some way or another. And I love how KiMari left things with a "breakup rejected!"

The artistic direction of this anime is wonderful, Madhouse brought out their A game, notice how the character design shows Megumi almost as an evil presence in the scene when Megumi is going to confess everything she did to Kimari, just by looking at her you know something is going to go wrong.
