Yay the mass media club! Love those two, they are absolutely unhinged! Sadly they don't get much screen time in the Anime. While Erika is an absolute fan-girl of Kaguya, Karen is a extrem "shipper" she ships Kaguya with Shirogane and daydreams all day long about her dellusions of how they be all flirty in the studend council. Most of her made-up stories are very close related to what actually happens and their close friendship to Chika has them actively involved in a bunch of things that happend, whenever Chika plays a game with everyone it is most likely that these two asked if she played it with the studend council which gets her on ideas. There is really a lot of going on behind the scenes in their own spin-off manga. But more importantly, you probably didn't noticed but Shirogane had a complete tone-shift in this Episode, he always tries to look cool and manly infront of Kaguya never revealing any weakness if possible but now he openly talked about how he is bad at many things, staining his shirt in blood whenever he tries to sew something, popping all the balloons and Kaguya reacted in a very positive way. Something you should keep in mind. This man has made up his mind! The Yakuza daughter on the roof they interviewed is a former Student-Councilm member that was part of it before Shirogane took it for himself, we know that members are choosen by the president so we can assume he didn't needed her services for his own council.
