Pretty sure Kaguya-sama is considered Seinen, not Shoujo. It was published in Miracle Jump and then moved to Weekly Young Jump, which are both Seinen magazines. In terms of themes and plot it's probably sitting on the border between Shounen and Seinen, but I don't think I've ever seen it linked to Shoujo. (Although at the end of the day it doesn't really matter. Shounen, shoujo, seinen and josei are not genres per se, they're only target demographics, so eventually everyone will end up reading all of those anyway)

The manga was published in a YA men's publication and received some feedback complaining that there was no "pantsu shots". The complaint was even mentioned in a special chapter to announce the anime adaptation. Akasaka's answer was "You want pantsu? I'll give you a whole chapter of pantsu, men's pantsu!"

Didn't you thought that "Today Sweet" with a picture of Arima Kana on it looked suspiciously familiar?! :) It is infact the Original Manga that was a topic in Oshi no Ko's first season where Aqua and Kana worked together on the mediocre live adaptation together where we see the Author also in the second season holding a grudge towards that one guy that kinda ruined the MC role. Also Shojo Manga, basically meaning "Girl Manga" is the other side to Shonen Manga which is just "Boys Manga" it usually features more romcom/drama orientated content and is meant to appeal to teenage girls which is why the Artstyle at the end of the episode looked so overstylized on beauty while in shonen manga it is usually more focus on muscles, bodyparts and fanservice elements which in return appeals to teenage boys. Kaguya-sama is technically a shojo manga but thanks to the overwhelming amount of comedy and slight fanservice elemnts it got popular in both camps. It is one of my favorite manga/anime too, even tho i still heavily advocate for Clannad and or Golden Time!
