Isn't she the most adorable Empress ever? I know empresses shouldn't be "adorable", but! we must PROTECC! This is one of the reasons why I love Xingke so much. Im weak to the "big softie" and "small badass/sweetie" tropes <3 And ugh, I rly don't like Nina!

2024-11-07 17:53:22 +0000 UTCI really love the scene where Kaguya twirls infront of Lelouch to protect him from Suzaku, it was her moment to shine because it wasn't battle or strategy but pure politics and that is where she excells at. Nina kinda always was on the verge to a mental breakdown, extremly sheltered in a foreign country, racist tendencies and an obsession for someone who died. It does make sense that she is mad at suzaku for not wanting the same, their love for Euphemia was probably the only thing that connected these two and that is probably why she wasn't as afraid of him anymore either.

2024-11-05 19:27:03 +0000 UTCDuring their game Schneizel broke the rules of chess by moving his king near Lelouch's peices. And Lelouch decided to ignore that illegal move and continued the game, moving his own king back. So I think what was implied here that the Emperor has no rules (Schneizel said that the Emperor would took his king, which is also illegal, without hesitation) while Lelouch has some sort of rules for himself and is not willing to cross them. Too hard for me to explain it more properly, I don't know how to translate my thought about this into English. But I think it is very important moment for showing Lelouch's character at this point (as well as the Emperor and Schneizel, who is willing to break rules)
