Clannad just change the way I live the life, it's hard to find a series that impacts you on the level of life, and this is one of them. Clannad is an anime that at first glance doesn't seem to be a big deal, but if you watch it, and take the time to experience its 2 seasons, you'll understand what many of us commented at the time of watching it. A story like no other, it will take you on a roller coaster of emotions, and at the end, you'll most likely feel your outlook on life change because of the message Clannad delivers. It is totally worth living this not so long trip, I highly recommend it! (Thanks translator hahaha)

2024-09-22 05:16:26 +0000 UTCThis show has some good parts but mostly it’s slow and awkward. IMO the last episode ruined the whole show. It’s based off a dating game. If you want to watch an anime based off a dating game Fate/Zero, Fate/Stay night ubw and heavens feel are a better options (in that order). But that’s just my opinion. A lot of people like this show but If I could go back in time I would skip.

Clannad is, in my humble opinion, one of those series that anyone who watches anime has to see at least once. Though I have seen it many more times. XD Oh, I do have one thing to add; that is that a very prevalent theme in the series is familial bonds which I think you might like. If you can find it somewhere online to watch then I highly recommend you do. ^_^

2024-09-14 17:02:50 +0000 UTCClannad has two seasons which tell the whole story, there is a movie which is also the whole story but very condensed so not really worth a watch if you can just watch the show instead. There are a few OVAs that tell different routes you can play in the Visual Light Novel game. These type of games are loved because of the different routes one can take, instead of deciding for Girl A maybe Girl D is your favorite and you try to deepen your relationship with her and that is basically what the OVAs show but sadly not in their whole story, more like a snipped but still very worth the watch after you finished the Story. I mentioned it before, it is my Favorite Anime for a while now and just recently it is sharing it's spot with Frieren. The show is literally spoken Slice of Life, we follow the MC and see a part of his life and that is it. No overarching story, no big bad, just everyday life with its highs and lows and that is pretty much why you get extremly invested in the Characters and laugh and cry with them when needed. It has lots of comedy and funny moments so describing it as a romcom would work too. An interesting note, when Kanon released (which is very similiar to clannad in its topics and style from 1999 kinda like a predecessor to clannad) everyone made fun of the Artstyle, very exagerated eyes which you can still see in Clannad but the Artstyle is intentional to match the drawings from the game. I do have to admit that the first like 2-3 Episodes you kinda notice the Style a little bit but the more you get invested the more charme the style has i think and despite that style it is very well animated. I just really mention it because i have friends that refuse to watch it because of that and that is a massive bummer to me.

2024-09-13 17:16:31 +0000 UTCClannad is a very emotional series. It's a high school slice of life mixed with violet ever garden lol . people will play up the sadness, and it will HIT HARD. But it's a story with uplifting moments too. Same writer as angel beats btw.
