2024-09-13 05:55:10 +0000 UTCLloyd is absolutely great. I like how he was the one who started clapping. He obviously doesn't care about Suzaku being japanese at all. Such a great character overall. His every interaction is kinda unique compared to other characters in the show. P.S. It is also interesting how the general Darlton was the second one. I think this is because he recognizes Suzaku's military talent.

2024-09-11 09:18:24 +0000 UTCThis episode is another good example off something i talked last week, the episode is called "I order you, Suzaku Kururugi" which can be seen as a massive spoiler but because we don't know the circumstanzes, we only can guess and wait for it to happen. But i do have to say, in the last Five episodes of season one there is one episode (not saying which) who has a very evil spoiler in it and i do consider it more a spoiler than creating suspense. I wish they didn't have chosen that titel. You asked about prez Milly and her engagement with Lloyd, we did see them meet for the first time a few episodes ago where they discussed marriage. It has nothing to do with love but with mutual profit. The Ashford family from Millys side fell massively in standing as supporters of a dead queen and ofc they would like to raise again, it is very common to marry off children for these exact purposes. What Lloyd gets out of it is yet to be revealed! At the very least we haven't seen him show any interest in girls or Milly in particular. Milly is definetly uncomfortable with the arrangment and she hasn't told anyone about it, that is why she was a bit struck when Lloyd just announced it to her friends and classmates. We did got another peek at prinz Schneizel, second oldest son to the emperor and the big brother of everyone (well except the eldest son) no one remembers it but i think in episode two it is mentioned that the whole unit of Llyod and Suzaku is exclusively under the command of Schneizel for research, having a genius under his wing like Lloyd only makes sense that his technology is far more improved than what the general masses use and or have, even Rakshata was taken back by seeing a flying ship. I really like this episode, at your first watch it is pretty much like any other episode, nothing special in itself but what happend in this episode effects the whole show and i really love that :)
