I will second this, Golden Time is an incredible story and is right up there with romance shows. There is plenty of comedy but I definitely feel like the focus on the relationships in the show tilts the show more into drama rather than a full-on rom-com. Absolutely would recommend!

It does sound very weird, it makes you think it might be due to copyright, but that's how the audio of the Blu-Ray version sounds too. I guess it was intentional, although I wouldn't be able to tell you why. Also, the anime is from 2013. Dunno if nowadays that could be considered old (I personally wouldn't say so, but that's me). Great romance anime, and not too long (24 episodes), definitely something that might be worth watching, but unlikely it would be able to win a poll. While popular, it's not *that* popular unfortunately.

2024-08-23 20:52:15 +0000 UTCGolden Time is very underrated and does not get enough love! It is from the same Author and Studio as Toradora! Because it is the same genre and same makers it gets overshadowed by Toradora! and therefore overlooked by fans, which is sad. It follows the same genre of romcom but it is still standing strong on its own. It does something very specific to the romcom genre different which i can't say without spoiling the first few episodes but it is a very lovely anime with very likeable characters. Where Toradora! has a stronger focus on comedy Golden Time has a stronger focus on romance but that might just be my interpretation because both are amazing romcoms in general. Ah and it doesn't play in France but the Eifeltower does have a meaning in the show!
