Yes, you met 2 of my fav character (Lulu and Lloyd) and my 2nd most fav character got name dropped: Schneizel (Pronounced something like Shnay-cell) And if you are confused by the story itself, don't worry all will be clear by the last EP, if it's something about language or culture thing, we are here and at least one person will know more details on it! Also you saw more of one of my least favorite character (not only if this anime): Nina Did you notice both Kallens and Lulus eyes, when they are at school (and pretend to be the nice innocent ppl) vs, how they are out of school/sight? I find it rly well done. About the origami (folded paper) cranes. You might remember them from Silent Voice. At the end, they folded them for the MC (tho not enough). this is a common belief in Japan and is not only a Code Geass thing

2024-07-23 18:11:17 +0000 UTCSome Asian countries have the habit to call close friends "Brother" and "Sister" but in Anime it is almost never translated so you hear "oni-san" for big brother but in the Subtitles you read the Name of the person, they translate it like that to not make confusion and show us to who it is directed by just using the Name. So whenever you actually read "brother" and "sister" you can assume they are blood related until the show makes it clear they are not. In Code Geass there are a few characters with blood-ties to each other, most notable the royal family which is lead by Charles zi Britannia, he is the Father of pretty much any named royal character and has/had different wifes that had Children with him. So we know from the Episodes that Nunally is Lelouches full sister and the dead prince is his half brother. Nunally is his only full sibling everyone else you meet from the royal family is half, i hope that helps with the confusion. Another small thing is that everyone in the royal family has a different middle thingy apparently depending from the mother side so the Emperor is called Charles zi Britannia while Lelouch and Nunnally are called "vi Britannia" but they are still all family. Lamperouge you only really hear in the first episodes is the fake surname Lelouch and Nunnally use to hide their royal standings after they were used as political tools and presumed dead after the invasion from britannia against Japan. Lastly: Lelouches Geass is only in one eye and always was, you probably missremember there, in future episodes there will be a little bit more information about the geass part of the story.
