A great episode, been awhile since we've had an emotional hit. I'm happy they spent time on the staff since I commented about it previously. Serie is an interesting character, I think her only real goal is to see the heights of magic, how powerful can you become. So when she is faced with a mage with near infinite time in their life working on suppressing their mana instead of growing their skill and their favorite spell is trivial, it's disappointing. I can understand it, but we like Frieren.
