2024-03-19 18:54:33 +0000 UTCHighschool DxD is definitely an anime that just so perfectly fits the term - guilty pleasure lol The overall concept of the world is one that I found to be a very interesting take on things. But as you have noted, multiple referees will be required to watch it. So while this anime can be enjoyable, it also really depends on how comfortable you are with fan service....lots and lots of fan service haha.

2024-03-16 02:46:42 +0000 UTCI had to do a double take when I saw this. Thank god it's the openings because the Endings have multiple referees. Not just moments, literally multiple referees needed. But unironically this is one of the better harem/ecchi anime. In many series like this, the main character is usually a shy, introverted guy who can't talk to women whatsoever and always runs away whenever someone shows interest. Not Issei, though. This guy has a bunch of women all over him and just says "BET". The writing is definitely above average, the characters hilarious, the girls obviously very "alluring" as you may tell from the openings and it's just good fun for people who have no shame. Which is me. I have no shame.

2024-03-15 17:28:19 +0000 UTCThe thing about Highschool DxD, You have all the females. Red haired Rias, Black haired Akane, White haired Koneko, Blonde Asia and Blue haired Xenobia. And they ALL want a piece of Issei, the MC, brown haired guy with the red gauntlet (if you catch my meaning), as is usually the case in harem anime. It's very referee heavy 😅😂
